Cannons in from 1900's to modern day

the cannons used in this time were more desctructive because the science knowledge was increased. both the United States and different countries use them to attack their enemies.

one cannon is this one which was used and is still used to fire across long distances. some cannons like this were used on ships in order for protection. this cannon does not have a certain name because it is like an everyday cannon that people in the war use.
 

this cannon was used in the 1900's to travel slowly but shoot further then the rest of the cannons. this cannon was known as the cast iron. this cannon fired a ball that weighed 32 pounds and was one long shot.

Cannons from 1800's to 1900's

the cannons in this time period were able to shoot further because of the design. people had more knowledge on how the cannons will work so they were able to create better weapons.
 

cannons were also used on ships against enemies. cannons were used in tons of places  including Germany, United Kingdom, Europe, and Asia. cannons were called  machine guns in some places and arttelliry in other places.

Cannon Designs in the 1800's

Cannons were big in the 1800's being used for battle on all sides. the United States adopted them in 1809 while the French abandoned them in 1829. the cannons were used to destroy or tear down enemies and could be sneaked onto enemy territory. today there are over a hunered cannons at parks or historical sites. people used the cannons to attack because the guns had a limited range of firing.

12-Pdr Napoleon




12-pounder gun/ cannon: known as the "napolean" and weighed an average of 1,200 pounds. the favorite among the north section. the design also known as the confderate design, was slightly different from the guns that the confederates also made.

                          


2.9 Parrott
2.9 inch parrot rifle: designed by captain robert parker parrot. also found in southern boundaries. was used in the American Civil war. manufactured with two different boundaries and more pounds then now.
